Pangolin Photo Safaris are a specialist company offering guided photographic tours of Chobe National Park and further afield.

With expert guides and professional photographers on hand to assist and customised vehicles and boats, Pangolin Photo Safaris will give you a photographic experience never to be forgotten, enabling you to capture those magical moments as you’ve always wanted to!

Boat Cruises
Morning and afternoon boat cruises (3 hours) are offered along the Chobe River in Kasane offering exceptional wildlife viewing. The boat has been custom designed for the purpose with each seat equipped with a mounting or beanbag for resting the Nikon D7000 and Sigma zoom lens which each guest has the use of. During the safari you will be given a demonstration of the equipment as well as tips on how best to set up the cameras to suit the conditions.

Game Drives
The game drives last approximately 3 hours and takes you into Chobe National Park. The vehicle is a customized Unimog which has  room for eight clients to sit comfortably with beanbags positioned strategically to rest the cameras on when at a sighting. There is plenty of room on-board for equipment and with its open sides and high vantage point it is the perfect platform for land based photo safari activities.

As with the boat each seat is equipped with a Nikon D7000 this time with 120-400mm Sigma lenses which provide the perfect combination of zoom and manoeuvrability for the Unimog. On board you will receive further help with the cameras and advice on picture composition.
