Activities around the CampMopiri Camp
Fishing trips are available from the Camp as well as boat trips to the nearby islands and bush walks. A sunset boat cruise on the double storey barge around Weboro Lagoon is a relaxing way to finish off the day.

Fly-camp
Mopiri Camp offers overnight trips to private fly camps on islands in the Okavango Delta. You will be transferred by motorboat through the channels and waterways of the Okavango to your fully pitched camp.

Whilst on the island you will spend time doing game walks, boat and mokoro trips and fishing as well as having the opportunity to visit one of the local communities to experience their way of life. The area lies in the Jao Concession and offers superb scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience.

Wildlife

Around the camp the main attraction is the birdlife typical of the central Okavango region. The Wild Bird Trust are setting up a research camp at Mopiri offering guests the opportunity to learn about their research projects in the area.

Animals common around the Camp include Vervet Monkey, Bushbuck, Hippo and Otters whilst Elephants, Zebra, Red Lechwe and even the occasional Lion and Leopard can be encountered whilst doing bush walks on the islands.

Accommodation

The spacious en-suite tents are superbly designed and well furnished with a dressing area, separate bathrooms as well as their own private deck overlooking the Lagoon.
